About Garden
City Rods and Customs
The Garden City Rods and Customs Club of Missoula, Montana is a non-profit organization that was formed by individuals with an interest in restoring, preserving, and enjoying collectable vehicles such as antiques, classics, hot rods, special interest, and modified vehicles. The club's goals are to:
- provide opportunities for the club and its members to meet, share ideas, and show their rides!
- raise funds for local charitable organizations!
- provide a family atmosphere!
- share our hobby with younger generations!
Club activities include cruises, parades, picnics, charity events, and classes on a variety of automotive interests. Members meet monthly to plan activities and conduct Club business.
Past,
Present, and Future
The Garden City Rods and Customs
Club was founded in 1986 with a handful of charter members. Since then the club
has grown to almost 100 members. Because family participation is encouraged, a
membership includes the entire family.
The club welcomes all types of
vehicles from older classics to street rods, restorations, race
cars, trucks, motorcycles and even tractors - something for
everybody!
Our primary goal is to have fun. We do this by participating
in various events in and around Missoula and the Northwest. We hang out with
fellow members, go on cruises and rallies, and take part in and contribute
to charitable events and causes - all while promoting an interest in
automobiles.
